Customer/Client: JB Towers – Naomi Burridge, PSMO & Steel Manager

Reason for project: To increase and boost the mobile telephone signal for users at specific outdoor events so as to eliminate overuse of the local network. The product was born out of need and requirement in this modern age of mobile telephone usage for calls, data, and social media at these exquisite events.

The Brief: To use the 3D model provided, to develop and improve it for fabrication, galvanizing, and installation of the steelwork structure to the provided transportation chassis.

There were 120 No. components, plus ironmongery, to form this complex structure which had to be fabricated by Metafab Solutions with precision as there were tight tolerances for this moving structure.

Strategy and Outcome

Michael provided weekly photos of the progress being made so that the client was fully aware of the progress made by his team. With the time constraints given to Metafab, I do not think that there were any other actions which Michael & his team could have improved on.
